Metro Line 1 and Ba Son underground station: minutes from Golden River to Ben Thanh
The Ben Thanh – Suoi Tien line has been in commercial service since 22 December 2024, with Ba Son station on site.
Metro Line 1 (Ben Thanh – Suoi Tien) entered commercial service on 22 December 2024. The line is about 19.7 km long with 14 stations, three of them underground in the centre: Ben Thanh, Opera House and Ba Son.

Ba Son underground station sits inside Vinhomes Golden River, a few minutes’ walk for residents. Ben Thanh is two stops away; towards Thu Duc the line runs via Van Thanh, Tan Cang, Thao Dien and on.
What it means for buyers and tenants
Urban rail makes rush-hour travel more predictable, especially for professionals working downtown or in Thao Dien – Thu Duc. It is one of Golden River’s advantages over other riverside projects.
